I found out about this internship at an on-campus career fair and applied through the career website. I got an interview when they came back to campus about a week later. The first interview on campus was pretty straightforward and behavioral. Then I got invited back for another on-campus interview about two weeks after that. The second on-campus part had two 30-minute interviews, a campus tour, and then lunch. The first interview was just with one person, going over my resume and asking behavioral questions. The second interview was with two finance managers and was way more about education and finance stuff.

Behavioral Technical Case

I applied for their winter internship but didn't get in, but they kept my info and then reached out for their full-time finance development program. First, I had a phone call with a recruiter with basic questions about why Genworth, my majors, my 5-year goals, and how I analyze companies. Then, I went to Richmond for the HQ for two panel interviews, each with two interviewers. It was heavy on fit questions, less technical than I expected. I actually had to bring up technical topics myself, though I did well on those. The fit questions were tough, especially when asked back-to-back, like wanting/not wanting things from a job and which company I wouldn't work for. I think I didn't get the offer because of the fit questions, so be ready for those. It seems like a good company to start in, though.

I got an email from Genworth asking to set up a phone interview. After that phone interview, they said they wanted to have me on-site. I went to the on-site interview and talked to four people. First, I interviewed with two people, and then with two more people. They also gave me a tour of the Genworth campus.
