I talked to the company at my school's career fair and got invited for an interview the next day. During that interview, they asked about my engineering interests, extracurriculars, and leadership experience, and also went over my resume. Two weeks later, I was invited for an on-site interview in Zeeland. There, I got a tour of their 3 facilities and had 2 one-on-one interviews, one in each building. These interviews focused more on behavioral questions, my career path interests, and industry interests. A couple weeks after that, I got a call with an offer!

I interviewed with 3 people. First, I had a 15-minute chat with an HR person. Then, I met with two engineers for about an hour each. The interviews with the engineers were pretty casual as we walked around their facility. One of the engineers seemed to think I might leave Gentex for a job with one of the Big 3 in Detroit, but that's not true. They are looking to hire their interns full-time after they graduate.
