The entire hiring process lasted about two months, but once the initial interview was completed, things moved really fast. Everyone on the team was super nice and clearly prepared for the interviews. It's refreshing because I've been to interviews before where the interviewer hadn't even looked at my resume, but not at Gensler – they're on top of things and get straight to clarifying anything from your resume. They've streamlined their interview process to be shorter and don't spend much time on candidates they're not interested in. Definitely ASK QUESTIONS, there's always something you'll want to know about the company or your potential colleagues.

The interview process was quite lengthy and frustrating. I arrived on time for the first interview, but ended up waiting an hour for the interviewer. It felt like my time wasn't valued. They then told me the second interview would be a few weeks away, and after several months of the same response, I gave up, even though they were still advertising the role. It made me wonder if they would have been so patient if I had been an hour late. They should be more upfront instead of leading people on. Remember, during an interview, the company is being evaluated just as much as the applicant.

The interview was a panel of four people, and it was really conversational. They even took me on a tour of the office, which made me feel super comfortable and not nervous at all. The whole thing lasted about an hour, not counting the tour or when they talked about the company's history and background.
