Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Genpact.
Management Trainee
The interview process was moderate. They asked about work experience and behavioral questions to check personality. They also asked about ERPs I have worked on, so it was not that much difficult but easy to moderate. If you have a good knowledge of concepts, you will clear your interview. There were 2 rounds.
- Can you tell me about your work experience?
- They asked behavioral questions to check my personality.
- What ERPs have you worked on?
Senior Manager
First, a recruiter reached out. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager. After that, I spoke with the manager's counterpart. Finally, I interviewed with the manager's supervisor. The whole process took about two months, which also included a background check.
- What makes you want to leave your current job?
Pricing Manager
I really wouldn't suggest applying to Genpact again. It seems like neither the HR nor the Hiring Manager reviewed the resumes before setting up interviews, which is a shame because they could have found a much better fit, especially since I told HR beforehand after reviewing the job description that I had doubts about the role's compatibility. It wasn't until the interview that the panel mentioned they were seeking a different kind of pricing experience, which felt like a complete waste of my time.
- Can you describe your current role and what your responsibilities entail?
