Java Consultant
Technical interviews heavily feature Data Structures and Algorithms. There are also client-facing rounds where they'll ask similar problem-solving questions based on DSA to check your technical skills and how well you can explain things.
- Most questions are from Data structure and Algorithm.

So I went in at 12:00pm, there was a panel of about 4-5 people. The first round started at 5:00pm, it was pretty bad. I was about to leave, but they asked me to wait a bit longer. Eventually, a girl conducted the interview. By 5:00pm, everyone was tired, including her. It felt like she just went through the motions. She asked questions about core Java internals and method names, which honestly, only someone who memorized everything would know. She did ask some string questions, which I answered. The interview only lasted about 15 minutes because she seemed tired and was in a hurry to leave. She mentioned an HR callback. It was wild, around 80 people showed up, and by 5:00pm, only the first round was done for everyone. They selected everyone for the second round. It was a horrible, worst experience.
- Tell me about core Java internals.
- Can you recall the names of specific methods?
- What about some string questions?
Senior Java Developer
The interview process began with a technical round where I was asked questions about JAVA, OOPS, SPRING, SPRING BOOT, REST API, and SQL. I received feedback the same day and was scheduled for a second round. However, the second technical round, which covered JAVA, OOPS, SPRING, JAVA8, and PROJECT, was delayed by a month, with assurances of an offer if I passed before my last day. After that, I had an HR round where they indicated an offer would be extended the next day. I successfully completed all stages with positive feedback. Despite being close to my resignation date (2 days left), the recruiter rescinded the offer the following morning, citing pending approvals and suggesting I look for other opportunities if I had them.
- Questions about Java8 Stream API, Lambda expressions, Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST APIs, and SQL were asked.
- Discussed OOPS concepts.
- Asked about Spring Boot.
