Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Genpact India.
Senior Consultant
The interview process involved a face-to-face round. The first round was a technical one, and then there was a Director round and an HR round. The technical round was of average difficulty and mainly asked questions about previous experience and security concepts.
- Can you describe how you would conduct a risk assessment, and then present a scenario for it?
Technical Consultant
It was pretty smooth, my college handled everything. There were three rounds total: first a group discussion, then two tech rounds where they really checked our problem-solving, communication, and technical abilities.
- Can you elaborate on the items listed on your resume?
Consultant
The interview process has three rounds. First is a telephonic round where all technical skills are assessed through direct scenario-based and deep technical questions, usually expecting a specific answer with an option for further explanation. If you pass this, the second round is with a Manager who acknowledges your selection and informs you that you'll receive further information from HR regarding the onboarding process. The third round is with HR, where they discuss the actual compensation offered, referencing your initial salary expectations discussed when the job opportunity was first presented.
- Can you rate your skills on a scale of 1 to 5?
- Tell me about some questions related to your resume.
- Could you answer a scenario-based question?
