This interview gave me a good sense of what the day-to-day work is like, helping me figure out if it's a good fit. It was direct and to the point. They offered good feedback and were very open to any questions I had.

Applied online and got a phone screen, which was good. Talked about the role and what the job is like. Then went in for an in-person interview. It felt like they were retesting my CPhT knowledge. Since I haven't filled prescriptions in about 3 years, I was a bit rusty on some calculations, especially with the interview pressure, so it didn't go well. They had me read a handwritten RX for Novolog, figure out the dose, and how many pens to dispense. I also had to count pills in front of them for a fake RX using a counting tray and then put them in a vial. The actual interview was really disorganized and weird. They had a long printout with random highlighted lines, maybe just random internet questions, but it was unclear what they wanted. The questions seemed random and lacked depth, like "How would you handle giving or receiving an apology?", as if pulled from Google. I doubt I'll get an offer, and honestly, based on the interview, I'm not sure I'd want to work there anyway. It was very disorganized and strange. (The hiring manager and Pharmacy lead seemed really friendly though.)

I had applied for a FT PIC role before at Johnstown ACRP site, so I was familiar with the area supervisor. The national recruiters saw I had an existing application and talked to the area supervisor. Then, they called me back and offered me the PRN pharmacist job.
