Technical Support Engineer
The interview process started with an initial phone screening call, which was about 10-15 minutes long and went okay. Next was a technical interview, but it surprisingly didn't involve many technical skills. Instead, it focused more on interpersonal skills, asking about me as a person and how I'd handle different situations, rather than specific technologies like JavaScript, HTML, or CSS. After that, I was given a take-home assignment that was pretty straightforward and took me a week to complete. Two days after submitting it, I got an email saying I was rejected before the final interview. When I asked the recruiter why, I was told that by the time I submitted my assignment, someone else had already been offered the job and accepted it. What's most disappointing is the time I invested in the assignment, especially since I was given a week and told there was no advantage to submitting early. It seems like it might have just been a one-off bad experience as a candidate.

Technical Support Engineer
The interview process seemed to involve HR, a technical part, and a behavioural assessment. It felt like they were more interested in my social skills than my technical ones for this job. You should get ready for questions about workplace conflicts or customer interactions, even if you haven't personally encountered any office drama.
- Can you explain what SIP is?
- What about VOIP?
- What are your short-term goals?
Technical Support Engineer
Super fast and painless. It took 3 phone calls over 5 days and then they gave me an offer. Started with a 30 min chat with a recruiter, then a 30 min talk with the hiring manager. The last interview was an hour with the hiring manager and two engineers. Everything from start to finish was super quick, smooth, and easy.
- What's your understanding of SIP RFC 3261?
- Can you walk me through some troubleshooting scenarios?
- Tell me about Windows OS sockets.
