It was a pretty standard interview process, but right away, the scheduling was a mess. So disorganized, and that disorganization carried through the whole interview. The hiring manager was great, really insightful. Then, I had a bunch of one-on-one interviews with the team members, but the attention and effort they put in was all over the place, totally inconsistent. After all the interviews, I got zero feedback or follow-up. I had to chase them, and the HR person gave me bad info, and then I just got an automated email. Honestly, it was a pain, disorganized, and disrespectful of my time. I wouldn't recommend interviewing here.

Had a couple of phone interviews first. Then I flew out to Daly City and interviewed with my director, the VP, and some of my potential peers. It took a few weeks to hear back after that, and I figured they had gone with another candidate for the job.

The recruiter screening was a bit of a red flag, they couldn't give a salary range and were fuzzy on the team structure, dynamics, or hybrid work setup. The hiring manager wasn't much better, talking about struggles with executives and feeling powerless. While I appreciate the honesty, it's not something you expect in an interview and I wonder if it was to scare people off. I also didn't like being told I was moving on, then a week later finding out I wasn't because my answers were 'too detailed.' Good luck to whoever gets this role and with the upcoming challenges.
