Behavioral Technical

The interview had two parts: behavioral and technical. For the behavioral part, we talked about my work history, future career goals, why I want to work at GDLS, and what I consider my biggest accomplishment. Then, in the technical part, I had to talk about my past experiences again, explain what version control is, describe how I'd deal with a merge conflict, look at a power control module I hadn't seen before and figure out how to install it, and draw a flowchart showing how a phone call works.

Presentation Behavioral Technical

I applied online and heard back from HR about a week later. They wanted me to do a 15-minute presentation for a panel of 4 people, including an HR rep. The interview itself was about an hour long and felt really good, more like a conversation. They talked about the job and the company, and I discussed my past experience and how it fits. Then I did my presentation and answered some questions about it. At the end, they asked a few behavioral/situational questions. It probably went well because the job duties were similar to my old jobs. I got the offer 6 days later. The whole thing from applying to getting the offer took about 2-3 weeks.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty simple. They started off by scheduling a virtual interview where I met with a few people from the team. They really just asked me questions about experiences on my resume that were relevant to the role. The second round was an in-person interview where I got an introduction to the team and the facilities.

Technical

So they set up a Teams call for a tech screen, but then nobody showed up. I shot them an email to see what was up, and they claimed technical issues and wanted to reschedule, but they never did. And then they just ghosted me for no apparent reason. The job might not even be real; I noticed they updated the posting date on their site, but I have a screenshot of the original post I applied to, and it's the same, just shows it posted a month earlier than it does now (as of July 22, 2023).
