Behavioral Presentation

It started with a quick 30-minute phone chat. After that, they invited me to a Sample Teach. For the Sample Teach, I had to prepare a 10-minute lesson based on a topic they gave me, teach it, get feedback from the GA team, and then teach a part of it again for 5 minutes, using their feedback. They didn't use any tricky questions, it was more like they really wanted to give me honest feedback to help me get better. The only tricky part was that the lesson topic was so broad, trying to fit it into 10 minutes was tough. Creating the lesson itself shouldn't take long for someone who knows the subject well, but making it fit the time limit can be harder.

Behavioral Presentation

I sent in my resume about 6 months ago and got put into their general candidate pool. Then, they reached out to see if I was still interested. We had a phone chat where they asked about my background, how much I knew about the subject, and my experience with teaching, coaching, and mentoring. After that, they had me come in to do a 20-minute teaching demonstration. Once that was finished, they extended a verbal job offer.
