& Process

We start with your application and an initial screening, then move to a first-round interview. After that, you'll have a demo lesson where you'll teach a sample class, and we'll look at your lesson structure, how you engage students, and your classroom management. You might get feedback and discuss your choices afterward. This is followed by the final interview, then reference and background checks, and finally, the job offer and contract signing.

The interview process was of moderate difficulty, with a significant focus on technological skills. They assessed my ability to differentiate content delivery and my classroom management strategies. Additionally, they evaluated my readiness to integrate both traditional and technological teaching methods effectively where appropriate.

Applied directly on the website, got an interview invite via email. Filled out a form and then had three rounds of interviews. Received feedback. I was invited to a team round for a new joiner meeting, but it was declined and I received a non-selection email with satisfactory feedback.

I was contacted by someone who said I was shortlisted for an interview next week. I had the interview, and it went well. The interviewer complimented my English, even though the application stated Arabic was mandatory. I did speak Arabic, and at the end, she said they would call me next week. It's now my fourth week, and I haven't heard back, nor have my emails been answered. I just want feedback to improve myself, but it's been silent. I called once, and a teacher (or someone) told me if they hadn't called back or emailed, then I wasn't shortlisted. It was quite rude, with no apology. For the record, not all Gems schools are the same. My first experience was at a special, exciting place with great parents and teachers. So that's my story.
