First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Gemini Legal.
Office Assistant
The interview process was long and I was warned about it. First, I had a recruiter call to set up a phone interview. Then, I had the actual phone interview with a very nice, informed, and efficient lady named Danyelle. After 3 months, I was called for the in-person interview with HR Manager Marcia Wells. The interview was about 45 minutes long and included a typing test. It was my favorite interview ever. Marcia made me feel comfortable even though I was nervous and never made me feel stupid or dismissed. We connected over taking notes, reading a lot, work-life balance, how awesome Gemini swag is, and the importance of workplace culture for accomplishing more when everyone respects it and each other. I'm currently waiting to hear back.
- How would others describe you?
- What are your main strengths?
- What are your top three accomplishments?
Administrative Assistant
The interview process was good, very comfortable and easy. The company was in the middle of a move from central to northern CA, but that day I interviewed with (who would soon be) my direct manager and had the opportunity to meet the CEO briefly. My direct manager was very clear in the expectations of the company and what I should expect from them as well. We have since hired a new HR Rep, but she is great, very friendly. The longest part is waiting for the background and drug test results. I was anxious to get started!
- What motivated your interest in this role?
Office Assistant
I felt very calm during the interview because of Marcia's bright personality. The interview felt more like a discussion than an interrogation like few past interviews I had with some employers. The interview took about 30-40 minutes, and honestly it did not even feel that long.
- Can you share an example of a work accomplishment you felt successful with?
- What would your previous or current supervisor say about you as an employee if I contacted them?
- What kind of critique would your previous or current supervisor offer about your performance?
