Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Geisinger.
Registered Nurse
They began by asking about my background and my motivations for wanting to join Geisinger. We also discussed my interest in potential career growth opportunities and if I'd be interested in tuition reimbursement. They wanted to know how I would be a good fit for the role and what I would bring to the team.
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations?
Registered Nurse
It was short and interesting. We focused on my qualifications rather than my past job. We talked about my views on diversity and inclusion and how my nursing work impacts healthcare.
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next five years?
Registered Nurse
It was a simple and straightforward interview, very easy going. Pretty much like any other interview, I met with several faculty and resident physicians. Most of the questions they asked were casual and fun, and thinking about them now, they were very direct. Nothing too mentally taxing, so it was pretty chill.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
