Mechanical Design Engineer
I applied for the role about three months ago, and then HR got in touch to set up an online interview with the hiring manager. The interview went well, and we talked about basic engineering drawings, my suitability for the job, and how I'd handle tough situations.
- Can you explain the concepts related to Engineering Drawings?
- Can you explain the concepts related to Solidworks Basics?
- Can you explain the concepts related to GD&T Basics?
Mechanical Designer
Submitted my application online. About a week later, HR called me for a face-to-face interview that lasted around 30 minutes with both the Manager and HR. Following that, a senior design engineer conducted an hour-long CAD skills test. After the test, I was told a decision would be made within 10 days.
- Can you elaborate on your past work experience as detailed in your resume?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
- What information do you have about our company?
Mechanical Engineer
The interview had two parts. The first was with HR for an introductory chat. The second was with a manager to talk about the role and see if you're interested.
- Could you describe your academic background?
