First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GE Appliances.
Co-Op
It was a simple interview, mostly behavioral questions. It wasn't very technical even though it's for an engineering co-op role. The whole thing took about 30 minutes. They asked a lot about what I've done before. This was back in October for a co-op position that starts next August.
- Can you share some of your past experiences?
Intern
They started with introductions and asked about the projects on my resume, followed by more in-depth project questions. Then, they quizzed me on Java OOP concepts. After that, they gave me a coding question where I had to share my screen and write the code. Finally, they asked questions about web technologies like HTML and CSS.

The interview process started with an online assessment that included aptitude questions. Following that, there was a technical interview where they asked about my basic CS knowledge and projects, and I might have had to write some code.
