Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GE Aerospace.
Supply Chain
I had a virtual meeting after applying online. The interviewers didn't seem very engaged or interested, maybe because it was early in the morning. The interview lasted 30 minutes, and I never received a rejection email afterwards.
- Can you tell me about your background in relation to this supply chain position?
- What are your thoughts or knowledge about our company?
- What motivates your interest in this specific job?
Supply Chain Co-Op
It was a pretty average process, went through campus recruiting. They did an initial phone interview and then one in person, all behavioral and situational questions. They really focus on critical thinking and analytics. They like high GPAs and want to see high energy and work ethic. Make sure to go in smiling with a lot of energy and be able to talk about your past experiences using something like the STAR method.
- Can you share an example of a time you failed and describe how you dealt with it?
Supply Chain
The interview process starts with a phone interview, where HR will ask about your career. Then comes the assessment day, which runs from about 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On assessment day, you'll do a technical test, have two technical and motivation interviews, and work on a business case.
- Can you discuss your university career path?
- Please elaborate on your previous work experiences.
- Describe a challenging situation you faced and how you handled it.
