The first few interview rounds are conducted virtually. Afterward, the team invites you for an in-person meet and greet. The people there were really nice. It was a good opportunity to see the office space and get a sense of the work environment.

So I had a bad experience with GDH Consulting. Everyone was nice and gave me good feedback, but the company seemed really disorganized. They rescheduled my first interview twice. Then I did two 30-minute interviews. A few weeks later, I had a 2-hour video interview, which wasn't as bad as it sounds. I had to rearrange my schedule, but I was really interested in the job. Then they called and said I could come in for a tour and to talk more about the position, and that the offer was on the table if I wanted it. I had actually taken a low-paying full-time job recently because I have bills, but I didn't tell them. It was inconvenient to miss my second day of work and request a half-day, but I did it because I thought I had the job and didn't want to miss a better opportunity. I then went through a job shadowing phase, which was basically an overview, meeting the team, shadowing someone, and another interview I didn't know about. Even after shadowing, I got good feedback and was told they'd call about next steps. I left feeling a bit defeated because I felt I was given bad info and misled about getting the job. The next week, they called saying the position "expired" and they'd call about other openings. I was done at that point and not interested anymore. I know how recruiting works and positions usually have set times. I thanked the recruiter and haven't heard back. Oh, and I lost my full-time job by taking a half-day for this shadowing. All in all, a loss for me. For the pay they offered, I don't think there should be more than two interviews.
- Can you discuss your professional history?
- What are your career aspirations?
- What are you seeking in your next role?

I got an email from an internal recruiter for one of their Texas offices even though I applied for a job in Oklahoma. We scheduled a 30-minute phone interview. After that went well, they asked me to make a video answering some questions and send it in. I did that. Then the hiring manager from the Oklahoma office contacted me for a 15-30 minute phone interview. Unfortunately, I didn't advance because they were looking for someone open to a future sales role, which I'm not. They mentioned the final step was supposed to be an in-person meeting with current employees, but I didn't get to that stage.
