Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GCM Grosvenor.
Business Analyst
It was multiple interviews and I had a take-home assignment to complete. The interviews themselves were about 30 minutes each and focused on my skills and previous work experience in relation to the job description.
- Can you tell me how you make sure stakeholders are aligned during a project?
IT Analyst
The interview process had five rounds and took a whole month to complete. I enjoyed speaking with the team members, the team lead, and the executive director. Unfortunately, one of the team members rescheduled their interview without informing me, so I ended up waiting for 30 minutes. I had to follow up myself to get an update. The technical questions were minimal; it was mostly scenario-based. I received the rejection two business days after the final interview.
- Could you introduce yourself and explain how you would convey something you've learned to someone without a technical background?
- Please describe something you have learned and explain it in a way that a non-technical person could understand.
Business Analyst Intern
The process was quick but could have been more organized. The interviewers were nice and helpful, but the role itself wasn't very clear. In the end, there wasn't much clarity on the job or the steps involved, but they did answer all my questions.
- Can you describe your ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities?
