First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Garrigues.
Legal Intern
The HR person was very kind and even said she would send my resume to RH Latam because she liked my profile. However, after weeks of following up, she told me she would review it with Latam but eventually stopped responding completely. I turned down a job offer for the possibility of Garrigues but they never closed my process.
- Tell me about your work experience.
- Do you have any questions in English?
Legal Intern
I was in the selection process for an internship at Garrigues for several months. Although they were initially interested, in the final stages they told me my master's degree wasn't what they were looking for, despite having passed several tests over months. This assessment came unexpectedly and made me feel like my education was being disqualified without clear justification. Also, at the end of the process, they asked me to 'wait' because I hadn't been officially rejected, while others were definitively notified of their situation. This left me with the feeling that my time and effort weren't adequately valued. While I understand selection processes are competitive, I believe communication and respect for candidates are essential aspects that should be improved.
- What would be the applicability or fit of my master's degree within the firm?
Legal Intern
I was attended by a very nice and friendly HR person. The process was quite enjoyable and involved simple questions about what motivated me to study a double degree, my favorite subjects, and my adaptation period at university.
- What motivated you to pursue a double degree, what experiences have led to your learning, and how do you manage your time?
- What were your feelings that led to learning?
- How do you manage your time?
