Product Manager
The interview process was pretty standard, but it was frustrating not knowing why I didn't advance and then not hearing back even when I asked for feedback.
- Can you discuss business case problems related to current industry issues?
Product Manager
Started with a recruiter call, which was pretty good. She shared company info and got me stoked about the mission. But then the HM interview really brought things down. The hiring manager seemed a bit checked out and not very welcoming. He really wanted to dive deep into specific examples, especially around prioritization and dealing with different stakeholders. I could tell he wasn't vibing with my answers, and when he talked about the company and the role, I didn't get that mission-driven energy from the recruiter call. Plus, the job sounded more like firefighting between various stakeholders. Regardless of whether I get a callback, this experience made the role seem way less appealing.
- Can you share an instance where you leveraged data to arrive at a crucial decision?
Product Manager
This was one of the best interview processes I've experienced. Everyone was great and the turnaround between rounds was super quick. The recruiter was fantastic, even offering a feedback call after my offer didn't work out. Despite the rejection, the company's business model, mission, and culture really impressed me. Just a heads-up: the final interview with the CEO is quite unconventional and not related to product or healthcare, which caught me by surprise (check the interview questions for an example).
- Hypothetically, if you were the US President, would you allocate funds towards space exploration?
