First, there was a recruiter screen where they asked about my background, why I wanted to switch jobs, and gave me an overview of the role. The recruiter mentioned the hiring manager liked my profile and wanted to proceed. Then, I had a scheduled call with the hiring manager, but they didn't show up. After that, I was ghosted and never heard back from the recruiter.

Behavioral Presentation

First, I had a phone call with a recruiter. Then, there were a couple of phone screens with hiring managers. Most of the questions were about my experience, and they spent a lot of the phone screen time selling Gap to me. It was great, I felt special. After that, I came on-site for a full day of interviews. I think there were 5 straight one-hour interviews with Directors and above. Nobody was late, and there were no breaks, and I felt like I had been prioritized. I don't think I've ever had that experience before. Nobody was even a few minutes late! There was a great balance of selling me on the role and poking into who I was. I really clicked with every manager. I was interviewing with another high-profile company in the area, and by the end of my interviews at Gap I knew where I needed to be. I turned down a higher salary at an amazing company because I knew Gap was a better fit for me, and the work was more exciting too.
