First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GAO Tek.
HR Intern
The application process was online, then there was a virtual interview that checked communication skills, role clarity, and availability. It was pretty simple and organized. The chat was about basic role understanding, how good your communication is, your availability, and if you are keen to learn, not about technical stuff. Overall, it was easy and clear.
- What made you pick this particular position?
- What are your motivations for applying to this role?
HR Intern
The interview was quite superficial. An intern conducted it, and there wasn't really a two-way conversation, just basic acknowledgements like 'ok,' 'good,' and 'perfect' before moving to the next question. It was a bit disorganized, as they called me by someone else's name during the interview and then used a third different name on the acceptance letter.
- Can you describe how you would conduct interviews and what the interview process would entail?
HR Intern
You start by sending in your resume and cover letter, along with any other stuff they ask for. Then, you'll probably have to fill out some questions online to see if you're a good fit. After that, you'll have an interview, either in person or online, where you'll talk about why you're right for the internship. If they pick you, they'll send you an agreement letter that lays out everything. Once you sign that, you'll get an official invite to start.
- Why should we hire you for this intern position?
