Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GAO Group.
HR Intern
The hiring process was pretty simple and they asked questions related to the HR Intern role. The interviewer asked me to talk about myself and my past experiences. They also asked me about HR and gave me an overview of the company, including its history, aims, and values.
- Can you tell me what you understand about Human Resources?
- Could you introduce yourself?
- Walk me through your previous work experiences.
HR Intern
I interviewed for an HR intern role. Although the internship is unpaid, interns are very dedicated. I was interviewed by another intern, which I thought was odd. I don't think supervisors should give feedback to the interviewing intern during the interview. All in all, it wasn't too bad.
- Tell me about your strengths.
Human Resources Intern
The interview was conducted over Skype. It started with a few basic questions that lasted about 5 minutes. Then, I was asked to answer six questions in detail. It was an HR intern who interviewed me, which I found a bit strange. I was expecting to be interviewed by an actual HR person from the company.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
- Why do you think you would be a suitable candidate for Gao Tek?
