Product Manager
The interview process involved an initial HR chat, followed by a home assignment where I had to review the performance of an A/B test and a new Feature Launch using some provided input data from an excel file. The process concluded with an interview with a Game Monetisation Manager.
- How would you investigate a decline in a game's revenue and active player performance?
Product Manager
This was a really long process: first a general interview, and if you pass it you have to do a test that is quite hard, they give you 48h and it's hard work. If your test is OK, you get to speak with the responsible of the team, and after their approval, the head of marketing. They are all really nice during the process and until the final decision that takes longer. The process is quite agile, like a week between each phase.
- The test tries to figure out what you would do for all of your tasks, including branding, briefing for other teams, coordination of team, and benchmark.
Product Manager
I had two Skype interviews that lasted about 30 minutes each. One was with HR and the other was with my future boss. They wanted to understand why I applied for the job, what I could contribute to the company, and to make sure I was genuinely interested in the role.
- What draws you to this role?
- Do you play video games?
- Tell me about your past Marketing experience.
