I applied for the Plan Design Analyst job at GalaxE Solutions back in Feb 2025. First, there was a screening, and then I interviewed with the hiring manager. They asked me standard questions about management and the role itself. It was a professional and direct conversation. They told me I'd be moving to the final round, but then a week went by with no update. Eventually, I got a rejection email, which was a bit of a letdown after what they'd said. My advice is to be ready for common interview questions and don't assume you're selected just because of what they say during the interview. The process was okay, but it would have been better with clearer communication about the final decision.

The interview process for GalaxE usually has a few parts. First, there's an online test with aptitude and technical questions to see how you solve problems. Then, you'll have technical interviews where they ask about coding, algorithms, and stuff specific to the job. HR interviews are next to check if you're a good fit for the company culture and how well you communicate. Sometimes they also do group discussions or case studies to see if you can work in a team and think critically.

I applied for a job at LinkedIn and a recruiter contacted me for a virtual screening. I felt like I might have seemed nervous or 'off' during the call, possibly due to being socially awkward and autistic. The recruiter said she'd update me on next steps, but after a week of silence, I emailed her. She informed me that the client had chosen another candidate. I then asked for feedback on my performance and areas for improvement, but received no response. I tried calling her directly, but it went to voicemail. I sent another email requesting feedback, still with no reply. This whole experience felt dismissive and potentially ableist, and I wonder if I dodged a bullet if this is how they treat candidates.

Got a call from HR a week later, and they set up the interview. The interview started, and surprisingly, no React questions were asked even though I was fully prepped for React. Instead, I got CSS and JS questions. I answered most of them, except for the unit testing question. I also couldn't get the output for the reverse string question due to one error. After that, the interviewer just said 'ok, thanks for your effort!'. They sent me the questions, but they weren't React-related. I really wish they'd asked questions about all the technologies I've worked with! Definitely one of the worst interviewers I've encountered.
