Behavioral Technical

I applied online for a Recruiter role and had a virtual interview that lasted over 30 minutes. The interview went well, and the interviewer seemed to give me positive feedback, saying I was good but didn't have enough end-to-end recruitment experience. He mentioned he'd put me on hold for now. I was pretty disappointed, especially when he bragged about his team's communication, promising candidates updates on their status. It's been two months, and I still haven't heard back, which makes me feel like he rejected me intentionally. If that's the case, it would be better not to waste anyone's time with interviews.
