First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at G4S Secure Solutions.
Shift Leader
It was a standard interview with about 2 or 3 people. They started off asking me to introduce myself and explain my interest in the role. Then we moved on to some scenario-based questions and 'what would you do' type questions. The whole thing took around 40 minutes.
- Tell me about yourself and why you are interested in this role.
- Given a situation, what would you do?
- What would you do if a team member on your shift arrived late for work?
Supervisor
The interview process for this role was pretty straightforward. I was given questions to answer in advance. One question was to see how I would handle a specific situation. Some questions were very general and open to interpretation, so I provided different examples to cover all possibilities and gave in-depth descriptions and possible reasons why.
- How would you handle an uncooperative driver?
Supervisor
The interview process was very straightforward. I got a call inviting me to interview, and I was in and out in about an hour. They advised to dress professionally. I could tell they were carefully assessing my suitability for the role.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
