Security Officer
So you sit down and they start asking you questions about your professional safety experience. They asked if I was licensed and had compliant First Aid. Also what I would do if I was in trouble, and things like that. They also asked how to use the radio and body camera. It was a formal/informal interview.
- How do you deal with aggressive behavior when it's directed at you?
Sales Representative
It was a standard interview process with basic questions about my previous work experience and some about the industry. There were supposed to be 3 rounds in total, but I only participated in two. The first was with a senior sales manager, the second with the business head, and the last one was with the regional head.
- Can you share details about your past work experience?
- What is your understanding of the industry?
- Do you have practical experience using Excel?
Detention Officer
Applied for the role. The interview had 3 panel members. They asked easy questions based on my experience. The panel was nice, though it can feel a bit intimidating with multiple people asking questions. There were about 7 questions in total. I got a call that same week with a job offer. The background check process, which involves federal clearance, can take a while.
- Have you worked with inmates before?
Shift Leader
It was a standard interview with about 2 or 3 people. They started off asking me to introduce myself and explain my interest in the role. Then we moved on to some scenario-based questions and 'what would you do' type questions. The whole thing took around 40 minutes.
- Tell me about yourself and why you are interested in this role.
- Given a situation, what would you do?
- What would you do if a team member on your shift arrived late for work?
