The interview process was pretty fast, almost too fast given the company's reputation for thorough vetting. It began with a brief chat with HR. This was followed by a technical interview, for which they helpfully provided a document detailing what to expect. However, the 'resources' suggested for preparation were quite extensive: a whole JavaScript book and the complete React documentation. The technical interview itself focused on various smaller points within JavaScript and React. They did mention they wouldn't expect perfect answers to every question, which was good. The interview seemed manageable for someone with solid JavaScript and React experience. There were also some basic computer-science questions, typical for a junior role. Surprisingly, I was 'hired' the very next day, though it's more like being added to a developer pool. From there, it's up to me to secure a contract, which probably involves more interviews. I'm feeling a bit uncertain about the next steps.

First, there's an HR chat, which is pretty straightforward; if you know React, you'll probably get through it. Next, you'll get a coding challenge that's actually quite simple and enjoyable. Finally, there's a technical interview covering JavaScript and React, and it's not super strict. You don't have to nail every technical and business term; just being able to explain concepts is enough.

They interview you, then they ask you to complete a code challenge. I feel like they just waste your time. They make you code for an entire day or even more, then after you send them your code they disappear for months. It makes you think they just take your code and use it for demos to their clients. I regret wasting so many hours coding for them, so am here to warn you.
