I had an HR interview first, you know, the usual stuff. Then a technical interview covering core Java, design patterns, SQL, Cloud development, AWS, microservices, testing. They were really looking at how I approach problems and think logically.

The interview process was quite fast, but they took a long time to send the results. I suspect they were waiting for another candidate to accept an offer, which that person must have declined. Then they offered me the role, but I had already accepted another position, so I had to decline their offer. The interview process itself is average, but they expect candidates to possess skills across the entire development, quality assurance, and DevOps spectrum.

Behavioral Technical Coding

It was a very time-consuming process with 4 rounds of interviews over 4 hours. There was an HR screen, a technical screen, a personality interview, and a technical deep-dive. I noticed a lot of repetition, especially between the technical screen and the deep-dive, which was frustrating. The technical interviews were very focused on my potential contributions, with little effort from the interviewers to 'sell' the role or company. Although I had experience with most of their tech stack and could learn the rest quickly, they offered me a more junior role due to a perceived 'deficit' in experience with a small part of their stack. I declined the offer. I wouldn't recommend applying to Globalization Partners if you're a very experienced engineer.
