Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at G-P.
Sales Executive
The interview process was straightforward and provided good insights. My recruiter was pleasant, and things moved smoothly according to my schedule. The final stage involves a sales role-play.
- Can you tell me about your sales background and quota attainment?
- What were your sales quotas?
Account Executive
Had a long and tough interview process, including a final interview. I put in a lot of time and effort, but never got any feedback or follow-up. After waiting weeks and sending polite follow-up emails, I was completely ignored. Future candidates might want to think twice about dealing with a company that doesn't show basic courtesy in hiring.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What's your knowledge of the product?
- What are your sales skills like?
Sales Executive
The interview process began with a phone screen, which was more in-depth than usual, covering more than just background information. It was a really pleasant and conversational chat. Next, I met with two sales managers face-to-face. They were both very interactive and made an effort to make me feel at ease, even though there were some challenging questions. It still felt like a conversation. The final meeting was also face-to-face, with one of the sales managers and the VP of Sales. The VP was sharp and perceptive, just like the others, and skilled at asking difficult questions without making them feel that way. Ultimately, they were assessing sales abilities and how well I'd fit into the team culture. To be honest, this was the most well-organized interview process I've ever been through. Everyone involved went above and beyond to make it a positive experience.
- What is your approach to handling objections?
