Client Services
Had a phone call with the Recruiter from Texas, she was very energetic. Didn't talk much and moved me to the next interview on the phone. Then, I had an in person interview in San Francisco with the Manager, who seemed to show no emotion. After that, I had a phone call with the Director of Client Services for the United States.
- Can you explain how a country's GDP is calculated?
- Do you have any experience with FXCM?
Client Service Associate
The interview process starts with a phone interview, followed by meeting the hiring manager. Honestly, the interview was very easy, so there shouldn't be any need to be nervous. If the interviewer is silent after you answer, stay confident. Also, avoid speaking negatively about past employers. Bringing proof of your accomplishments would be beneficial. You can expect to hear back within 1-2 weeks max about the job offer.
- Did you practice using the account?
Client Service Representative
Applied online and then got a call a few days later for an initial phone interview. The questions were simple. They talked about the job basics: work hours (7am-4pm CST with 2 weeks per quarter working European shift from 11pm to 7am CST), Benefits, and that FXCM will pay for the Series 3 license. Then I was scheduled for an in-person interview the next week. It was a one-on-one interview. They asked questions about my resume and what interested me in the job. The interview was short, about 20 mins, and then I asked questions about career advancement, culture, and the companies advantage over competitors for about 25 minutes. I was told I'd get a call the next week with their decision. It's possible they sized me up as not a good fit because the interview was short. The interviewer was nice and professional. I think they are looking for people to move into sales or management because the business is expanding.
- Why do you want to work here, other than for the money?
