First, there was a written online assessment with fast math, English, and logical reasoning questions. Then, a group discussion (GD) round where they used fastest finger first style questions with options for stress testing. This was followed by a technical interview covering puzzles and basic trading questions like the price of gold. Lastly, there was an HR round.

The interview process started with two tests. The first was a 6-minute test with only mathematical calculations, where I solved the first 25 out of 40 questions. The second test lasted 30 minutes and included math and data interpretation questions; I focused on selected questions this time. Preparations for the CAT exam were very helpful for this test. Both tests had a strict cutoff. The HR person asked me, 'Why trading and not aerospace?' I responded positively, explaining my interest in finance over aerospace without speaking negatively about the latter. Some verbal calculation questions like 'What is 77^3?' and 'What is 141^2?' were asked, which were uncomfortable, but I maintained my composure and gave acceptable approximate answers. Simple puzzles were also part of the interview. Later, the interviewer started promoting the company and its benefits, which made me feel confident about receiving an offer. I did not have a second interview round.
