HR Assistant
I had a video call with the HR Director, then I was supposed to have an in-person interview at the office, but nobody got back to me. Even after several email follow-ups, I never heard back at all, not even bad news.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is your background?
- Were you familiar with Future Brand?
Project Manager
I had a 30-minute online interview with two senior people. I mostly talked about my background, and they didn't really sell the company or talk about the culture. The questions weren't super hard, but I got the impression they were more interested in candidates from similar agencies rather than focusing on potential or attitude.
- Can you tell me about your project management experience?
UI Designer
The interview happened in 2 stages with the two leaders of the area. The first interview was super encouraging and I felt a lot of connection with my possible superior. The second left me intrigued by the immediate and performance-only oriented posture.
- What do I usually do in my ideation processes?
- What do I most like to do within the demands that are generally from the area of interface and product design.
- What do I think is most important in the execution and elaboration of a new site/app/product?
Senior Designer
Got contacted for an interview a few weeks after my initial reach out. I met with three of the head creatives for about an hour and a half. The first meeting was with the Creative Director, who seemed down to earth and direct. He really liked my work but seemed bored with his job and the studio, and wasn't very enthusiastic about the company. The second and third meetings were really positive, and they said I had a great range and creativity and would be a good fit. Overall, it was a really positive interview, and they said I was exactly what they needed. I left feeling great about it. I sent a follow-up email a few days later to thank them for their time and the opportunity. I eventually got a 'no thanks' email back, without much explanation. Pretty disappointing.
