The group was amazing, really kind and professional. The company seems very stable with a bright future and outstanding culture. The interview process was ethical; they always followed up quickly and showed they were ethical throughout. Really nice people.

It was a pretty long process. After I applied, I got sent an IQ test, then a personality test, and then another IQ test a few days later. After I finished those, I had my first interview with HR and the manager. It was nice and professional. Then I had my second round of interviews the next week, meeting with five different people for about 30 minutes each. I also got a tour of the facilities. The only weird part was when one person asked if I had a boyfriend, which made me wonder about the company culture. I followed up after two weeks and didn't hear back for another week and a half, so I guess I didn't get the job.

So FS Investments sent me some questionnaires before the interview, which were like IQ tests and pretty interesting. After that, HR emailed me for an interview. The rest of the experience was just really bad. The front desk person wasn't super friendly but offered drinks and coat check. Then I met with two different people. First was HR, and they talked about the building for a bit before the interview. They seemed surprised I don't work in finance, even though my resume is clear about what I do. After that, they seemed disengaged and just asked basic questions and kept asking what questions I had. I asked who I'd be assisting, and they seemed offended and gave an answer that didn't match the next interviewer. The first person seemed annoyed I drank all the water but gave me more. The next interviewer was okay but also seemed less interested once they realized I work at a nonprofit, even though I have admin experience. The worst part was at the end, they looked at my resume, said they didn't have a card, and wrote their email on my resume and gave it back. They should have just been upfront that they needed someone with a finance background. No offer was made, and I didn't pursue it. It was a really strange interview, but at least I can laugh about it now.
