First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fusion BPO.
Technical Support
I was contacted by a recruiter who reviewed my resume. If hired, a background check would be done requiring ID and SIN or a government ID with my SIN. I got an email with interview details and directions, which was helpful since I didn't know that part of Montreal. Upon arrival on the 8th floor, I saw no signs for Fusion BPO Services, but the lobby indicated they were on the 8th. The receptionist explained they were previously Phocus Solutions, acquired by Fusion BPO in 2013, and were moving to the 3rd floor to combine call centers from the 8th and 10th floors. I signed a form, verifying my contact info, and waited in reception for the manager. We were then taken to a conference room with other candidates. The manager asked us to introduce ourselves and share something not on our resumes. Then, he asked customer service questions, like how to handle a difficult or threatening customer. After that, we took a quiz testing basic tech support knowledge, like getting an IP address. The manager then interviewed each of us privately about our reasons for leaving our last job and our terms of departure. He walked me out and said I'd hear back in about two days. He was direct but professional. I got a call a day and a half later offering me the job, with training starting the next week. I was reminded about the ID and SIN for the background check and told about direct deposit or check options. An email confirmed the training details and the manager's extension. The paid, week-long training was informative, and I felt prepared. The staff and managers were supportive and friendly. It was a very professional interview, rated 8.5/10.

First, they send a skills test to check your writing and English speed. After that, they call you for a group panel interview where they hired pretty much everyone, maybe because of high turnover. Associate
It was a telephonic round followed by an HR round. Then there was a GD round and a technical round where Excel was checked. If selected after these, you'd get an offer letter. Then there's a 14-day training period, after which two exams are conducted: one is a calling round, and the second one is...
- Can you introduce yourself?

Support Technician
The interview process took place over two days. The first day involved a technical assessment and a communication evaluation, lasting about an hour and covering networking and troubleshooting. On the second day, there was a client interaction. This final round was mainly to gauge my level of interest in the role.
