First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fuscoe Engineering.
Civil Engineer
I went through a hiring agency, they gave me the details and then I had a few interviews. The first one was technical, focusing on my past experience. Then, the second interview was more about checking my engineering skills.
- Have you held a project manager role previously?
Graphic Designer
I learned about this role through a referral from someone already working there. After I submitted my resume, an interview was scheduled within a week. A couple of weeks later than originally planned, my first interview took place. The delay was due to the holidays and an employee's illness, which required rescheduling. However, they were very accommodating and worked around my availability as a part-time employee and mother of three. The initial interview was with my direct supervisors, the Senior Graphic Designer and the Director of Marketing. Following that, I was invited back for a cultural fit interview. This second interview involved meeting with the Senior Human Resources Manager and the rest of the Marketing team.
- Can you describe the qualities you possess that make you a good team player?
Consultant
This interview process is based on personal definition and working experience. We will discuss your company definition, personal job title, definition of responsibilities with companies you've worked for, and your experience in infrastructure projects QA & QC processes, including areas like poultry and irrigation.
- Can you tell me about your experience in your current role, any certifications you have, and your training?
- What's your experience with company definitions and personal job titles?
- How have you defined responsibilities with previous companies?
Office Manager
The interview process began with a technical interview featuring the Manager and the person whose role was being transitioned. This was followed by a cultural interview involving a diverse group of potential colleagues, including the IT Manager, the Executive Assistant to the CEO, and administrative staff who would potentially report to me.
- What is your preferred management style?
- Could you share three words that your colleagues would use to describe you?
- Can you provide an instance where you applied 'Full Circle Thinking' to accomplish a goal or improve a process?
