A recruiter reached out about the Sr ERP Business Systems Analyst role. After I confirmed interest, we scheduled an intro call. This screening call was brief, and the recruiter said they'd pass me to the hiring manager. A few days later, I had a video interview with the hiring manager, which went well. Then I got an invite for a technical round with the PM and SWE lead. When I said the times didn't work, I was ghosted. An hour later, the same recruiter contacted me again. I assumed they moved on because I requested a different time. A couple of weeks later, I was re-invited for the round with the PM & SWE lead (I noticed the job had been reposted a few times). That round also went well. The next day, I got an invite for the final round with the VP of tech. This also went well, and the VP gave positive feedback. After all that, I was ghosted again, with no rejection or feedback, and the position is now closed.

I went through three rounds and then got a rejection email. The first round was a recruiter call about my past experience. The second was with someone filling in for the Hiring Manager, covering previous experience and some Business Analyst questions. The third round was with the Hiring Manager and another team member. Before this interview, I had tried rescheduling via three emails, a text, and a call because I had COVID and a high fever, but the recruiter never responded. I joined the interview and explained my condition, but neither interviewer asked if I wanted to reschedule given I could barely speak. I spoke for about 40 minutes, and one of them seemed uninterested. They asked about my past experience and some really basic questions. I felt like they had already chosen someone or decided not to pick me for another reason. I would have preferred if they had told me beforehand. After being ghosted by the recruiter when trying to reschedule and then the interview itself, I wasn't interested in the company anymore. It was the worst interview experience I've ever had.
