Technical Group

So, I went for this Junior Software Engineer role. The first part was a Technical Round, specifically on JavaScript since I picked that skill. The questions were pretty easy, but they were worded in a way that made you really think and read carefully. It was kinda unique and gave me a good experience. Then, there was a Group Discussion (GD) round. It was supposed to be a personal interview, but there were too many people, so they did a GD instead. I didn't do great in that one, honestly, I was just average and had no clue what to expect. Turns out, even with technical chops, you can mess up if your communication isn't on point. Didn't know that before, but it's a good lesson to remember about communication skills. Despite that, the interviewers were really nice, and the cafeteria vibe was good too. They were super polite.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • The technical round focused on JavaScript, where the questions were easy but asked in a tricky way, requiring careful reading and understanding to answer correctly.
  • The second round was a group discussion (GD) due to a large number of candidates.

So first I had a language assessment and if I got through that, then I was allowed into the coding round. Then they did two technical interviews. They asked for javascript and most of the questions were based on javascript, and they mostly ask you to code. This is to check if you can code and understand the language. Finally, they had an HR round.

  • Can you write code that demonstrates all JavaScript scopes?
