So there were a few rounds of interviews that I had to go through. They were pretty nice and clear with how they communicated and what they wanted done during the whole entire process. It was a good and easy experience overall, especially since they made sure I understood everything and were ready to answer any questions I had.

So, I went for this Junior Software Engineer role. The first part was a Technical Round, specifically on JavaScript since I picked that skill. The questions were pretty easy, but they were worded in a way that made you really think and read carefully. It was kinda unique and gave me a good experience. Then, there was a Group Discussion (GD) round. It was supposed to be a personal interview, but there were too many people, so they did a GD instead. I didn't do great in that one, honestly, I was just average and had no clue what to expect. Turns out, even with technical chops, you can mess up if your communication isn't on point. Didn't know that before, but it's a good lesson to remember about communication skills. Despite that, the interviewers were really nice, and the cafeteria vibe was good too. They were super polite.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • The technical round focused on JavaScript, where the questions were easy but asked in a tricky way, requiring careful reading and understanding to answer correctly.
  • The second round was a group discussion (GD) due to a large number of candidates.

I got this job through LinkedIn. After I applied, they called me back for an interview. The interview was pretty easy, and the technical interviewers were really nice. I got through two rounds of interviews and then moved on to the HR round. That's when things went south. The HR person took all my info and said they'd get back to me with an offer in about an hour. When they finally called, the offer they made was insultingly low, especially since I'd already told them my expected salary before the interviews. They tried to lowball me because I mentioned I could start right away. It's really disappointing to go through two technical rounds and then deal with such unprofessional and manipulative behavior from HR. It made me lose a lot of respect for the company and the HR field in general.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Can you explain what closures are in Javascript?
  • How do the call, apply, and bind methods work and when would you use them?
  • What are prototypes in Javascript and how do they function?
