Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fujitsu.
IT Consultant
I went through 4 rounds. First was a technical interview where they really dug into my subject knowledge. Then, an HR round to check my communication and presentation skills, and see if I could handle stress and workload. After that, the Project Manager asked about why I'm interested in this company and what certifications I have. The final round was with the Center Head, who focused on my overall attitude and whether I'd be flexible and willing to take on challenging tasks after joining.
- What are your reasons for not having any professional certificates at this point?
- Can you explain your motivation for wanting to switch fields?
IT Consultant
Had a 1 hour technical telephonic round first. Then I had a face-to-face discussion which was like a managerial round at their office. Lastly, there was an HR round where we discussed salary. After 3 days, they generated the offer letter. I tried to negotiate the salary but the person was very rude. Nevertheless, I ended up accepting the offer.
- What would you do if you were sent onsite?
IT Consultant
I went through 4 meetings, starting with top management and then future local managers, including HR. The interviews covered a global approach to the group, the market, and the future job description. The meetings focused more on general soft skills than technical ones.
- What makes you want to join our company?
- Are you prepared to align with and utilize the strategy?
