Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fugro.
Management Trainee
The recruitment process felt a bit disorganized. They were keen for me to join the traineeship but didn't really spell out the benefits. The company culture seemed quite old-fashioned, and I got the impression that new ideas aren't readily embraced.
- Can you share your reasons for wanting to join?
- What drives your interest in this role?
Proposal Manager
A quick and clear online interview was conducted with two Fugro employees. They detailed the job duties and the compensation for the relevant position. The selection process and the offer were very efficient.
- Could you tell us about yourself, your experience, and what you expect?
PMO Manager
The hiring manager reached out to me directly to set up what they called an 'Informal call', bypassing HR. It was a 30-minute video chat with the hiring manager and another colleague. I felt it went well, but when I inquired about the next steps, their response was unclear. They didn't provide any updates or feedback throughout the process. I attempted to contact them for an update via phone and messages, but received no response. The entire experience lacked professionalism and basic courtesy, to the point where the hiring manager even disconnected from the call before it concluded.
- Can you tell me about your experience and background?
- What is your understanding of PMO?
