Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FTC.
Intern
I applied really late in the cycle, so some departments had no spots left. I had two interviews. The first one was a Zoom call with two interviewers, and the second one was a phone call.
- Tell me some basic things about yourself.
- What makes you want to intern at the FTC?
- What project would you want to work on if you were here for an internship?
Intern
I had two phone calls. First, a call with a paralegal from the office I'd be working in. Second, a call with the Deputy Executive Director. Both calls were focused on behavioral questions and my past experiences collaborating with various individuals.
- What are your behavioral and experience working with different groups of people?
Intern
It was a quick phone chat. They asked me some questions about my background and then let me ask them questions. It wasn't long but it was a nice conversation.
- Can you tell me about your social media experience?
