Software Engineer
Recruiter reached out, then I had three phone screenings: one with the recruiter, one with the hiring manager (who rescheduled like 4 times), and one with a lead engineer (who also rescheduled about 2 times). After they liked me on the phone, I went in person for a coding problem, a technical round, and a manager round (the manager was late again). The recruiter later told me I got the job and an offer would come in 1-2 weeks. The recruiter called back a week later saying they'd hired someone else due to an internal recommendation as they only had one spot. The recruiter is still posting the job, and never sent a formal rejection email. It felt like a joke with no respect for my time, and I'm glad I didn't join because they seem disorganized.
- Could you solve this coding problem on-site?
- Tell me about your leadership qualities.
Software Engineer
I went through 3 rounds. First was with the manager, then a coding round, and finally a meeting with the lead engineers. They asked me about the process and scrum, and then we reviewed my technical skills from my resume. The coding interview involved a CRUD operation.
- Could you describe the interview process?
- Can you explain what scrum is?
- Walk me through your technical experience as listed on your resume.
Software Engineer
HR gave me a call first and walked me through the company and the interview process. Then, I had a technical interview with a lead developer, and after that, I had to complete an assessment using their tech stack.
- An assessment was given in their tech stack.
