It was a phone interview with a recruiter, then I went in for an in-person meeting with two sales managers, and finally met with a senior sales manager. The interview felt pretty laid back, but don't let that fool you, this role is super demanding. Each manager threw about 5 to 10 questions at me. The whole thing, including a tour, took about 1.5 hours at their office.

I started with a recruiter phone screen. After that, they brought me in for more interviews. I spoke with a sales manager and then a senior sales manager. If they thought I was a good fit, I would then interview with the Sales Director. Having a friend inside who can give a good reference definitely helps your chances of getting hired.

Saw the opening on Craigslist and a recruiter hit me up the next day. We had a phone call for about 30-45 mins, and she seemed really eager to fill the spot. She asked if I could attend training, which made me think I already had the job. Heard back four days later for a test. Went in, and then didn't hear anything for 11 days because of a system issue, or so she said. I set up an interview for the next day and met with three people. The first guy talked about his background. The second asked about mine. The third didn't say much but asked why they should hire me. I got an offer and accepted it. Didn't start for another two months.
