I had a phone call with a recruiter, then a virtual meeting with the manager I'd be working for. I also talked to her manager on the phone. It was pretty relaxed, not too intense. I did have to call a few times to follow up and get to the next step.

Took 4 days off and had to fly to the office in PA twice, which meant taking 4 days off work each time. Got a call saying I did a great job, but then they told me they chose someone else. My professionalism was questioned at the end, which has never happened in my almost 8-year sales career. Really frustrating process that ended up being a total waste of time.

The hiring process was super simple. It started with a call from the recruiter who was really upfront about how things would go. Then I spoke with the hiring manager. After that, I had a panel interview. Not long after, I got the offer. The whole thing took less than two weeks.
