Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Frontier.
Account Executive
The hiring process was fairly straightforward for me. Since I had prior experience working with my hiring manager, the steps involved were streamlined. I spoke with just one person for the interview, aside from the initial recruiter conversation.
- What makes you the best candidate for this role?
Enterprise Account Executive
The interview process began positively; the hiring manager indicated I'd advance. However, my recruiter was laid off the day of the interview. I waited over 3 weeks for updates, only for the new recruiter to make me resend my intake questions, then ghost me for another 1.5 months. After 3 follow-ups, I gave up. The new recruiter finally contacted me asking if I wanted to re-interview with a different hiring manager due to team restructuring. I felt this was offensive, especially after being ghosted and then asked to re-interview for a verbally offered position. I believe companies should pause hiring during organizational changes. This was a terrible experience; I advise others to avoid this role due to poor communication and wasted time.
- Could you share your desired salary range?
Account Executive
The first interview was short, around 20 minutes, and involved individual interviews with multiple people. After that, I was invited for a second interview. This one covered compensation and job responsibilities. It was a pretty relaxed setting. They interviewed more than one candidate at a time, and we went out for coffee (on them). It's a really easygoing interview, so just be professional and show your personality.
