Account Executive
It was a really professional interview process. I met with the CEO and we had a great discussion the whole time. They were happy to answer any questions I had. I don't understand why some people are saying it's a scam.
- What are your career aspirations for this role?
Project Manager
The interview process was really different. I got a text the day after applying to do a quick five-minute screening call. It was on Zoom with two other people interviewing for the same role. It felt a bit like a competition, but they didn't give much info about the job or company. I was told I was moving on, but when I joined the next Zoom call, they ghosted me and I never heard back. I looked into it, and the company reviews are a bit worrying. The only good reviews seem to be from current employees, like they're making them boost the rating. The positive reviews all sound really similar, talking about building things, leadership, team building, and praising the CEO a lot. No reviews from clients, past or present. Just my experience, though.
- Are the company's goals and values in sync with yours?
- When can you start the job?
- What's your availability to start?
Marketing Manager
The interview process was pretty long. They sent surveys after every interview and got back to me fast. The interviewer was cool and answered my texts quickly when I had questions. I didn't like the process much though because they didn't give straight answers about what the day-to-day work would be like and kept talking about the promotion structure. The pay structure sounded wild, like starting at $480/week plus commission and bonuses, but potentially making $16k/month in 6-9 months? That seems unrealistic. I had 3 interviews and they said they'd contact me by 6 pm for feedback. They called at 7 pm when I couldn't talk, and after I tried to reach out, I never heard back. This whole thing made me feel uncertain about the job.
- Do you think you'd actually want to work here?
Marketing Associate
The first "interview" was a webinar, which was basically a five-minute video with an AI talking about the job, it felt like a waste of time. I had to submit a survey after that. Then, I had a 45-minute interview with a recruiter. Even though I have a marketing degree, she talked down to me and "explained" marketing, which turned out to be a pyramid scheme where people supposedly make over $100K within months starting from $30K/year. I was invited to a final round, but after reading more about it, it definitely seems like a scam. Stay away!
