I got to the second stage of the selection process at frog, but the experience wasn't good. The interview was with four people at once, which felt more like an interrogation than a conversation. One of them didn't even have their camera on, which was unprofessional. After more than two hours of interviews and preparation, I didn't receive any feedback or confirmation on whether I was continuing in the process or not. A lack of communication that leaves a feeling of disrespect for the candidates' time and effort.

We'll start with an HR screening where we'll go over some behavioral questions. Then, you'll have an interview with two designers, and you'll need to give a twenty-minute presentation of your work. Finally, you'll interview with the head of the team at the local office and a designer you'd be working with.

My first interview experience was quite disappointing. The interviewer never showed up for the scheduled meeting, which is something that's never happened to me before. While I understand people can get busy or forgetful, it's disappointing when there's no attempt to apologize for wasting a candidate's time. Candidates invest time to advance their careers and help companies find the right person. Serious companies recognize this, and unfortunately, Frog doesn't seem to be one of them.
